2 Timothy 3:14-17. Matthew 22:29
|
(These are hand-jive style actions...) Point first finger, others clenched, tap elbow with one finger whilst pointing up with the other, alternate in time with music, dance! |
Do ya know the Bible and the power of God? |
Hands open, palms towards you, coming up to (just-below) mouth one at a time, in time with music, dancing! |
Do ya read the Bible for your daily bread? |
Pointing fingers again, this time with arms going like windscreen wipers while wagging fingers, in time... |
Don't be taken in by all the lies you hear around: |
Clenched fists, one-potato two-potato style, ie thump right on top of left, then left on top of right, repeat |
Do the Bible get your feet on solid ground! |
Leap into a pose, with one hand/arm forward, the other raised; leap into another pose the opposite way round |
It's sensational, inspirational! |
Same as first time |
Do ya know the Bible and the power of God?
|
Left hand forward, palm down, arm at 45 degrees down, wiggle fingers while sweeping hand back and up towards you; then do the same with the right arm/hand repeat |
1. You can read the Bible even when you're young like me! |
Pose with left arm forward and down, right arm up and back, hands open, fingers wide and shaking (jazz hands) |
It can make you wise to trust the One who set us free! |
Strike the opposite pose to the last line |
It speaks of the salvation only Jesus Christ can bring: |
Hands up in the air, shaking (jazz!), while you rotate 360 degrees on the spot, dancing |
The Bible is so brilliant it makes us want to sing!
|
Same as previous verse |
2. When we read the Bible God will teach us what is right.
And he will correct us so we're walking in the light!
Through it he can tell us when we're doing what is wrong:
and help us trust in Jesus as it trains us to be strong!
