OK - these are songs I've written
that aren't really for kids!

They're still about Jesus and how great he is, and they're still based on the Bible, his living Word to us today -
and I hope they glorify Jesus.
I wrote them just for me really, and they're not intended for congregational singing!
But I've sung them to a couple of people and they've appreciated them,
so here they are for you to have a listen to.
Born Again!
John 3:1-16
He wasn't just an ordinary Pharisee,
He was on their council, and man!
He knew what was going on!
Still he was chicken and
had to come at night -
didn't want the others to know.
Said "Jesus man we know where you're from
no-one could do the things that you do,
if he didn't come from God
(Yeah, we know)
Jesus smiled and said:
"Nicodemus, You gotta be born again!
You gotta be, you gotta be,
born of Spirit and water,
not just of flesh and blood.
You gotta be:
Born Again!
Nicodemus knew his biology,
And so he said: "Jesus, you're crazy man!
Back into my mother's womb?
I'm not going there again!
And any way I can't. (Jesus you're crazy man!)
"Born again" don't think so!
Jesus think again.
You're not going far with a message like that.
Jesus just smiled and said:
"Nicodemus, You gotta be born again!"
Jesus wasn't ordinary either:
the Son of God from heaven.
He really knew what's going on. So he said to Nicodemus:
"Don't try to live without me man:
You'll just stay in darkness.
Turn to me and start again. (I'll give you new life forever!)
God he loved the world so much that
I have come his only Son
Trust in me and you won't die you'll live!"
So Jesus smiled and said:
"Nicodemus, You gotta be born again!"
